Make sure you're signed in to iCloud in the iPhone's Settings, iCloud Drive is enabled, and you have an internet connection. Friend requests can take a moment to arrive; pull to refresh in the Pals tab.

Settings → Export All Data creates a complete JSON export of your games, players, and stats that you can save anywhere.

Deleting a game removes it permanently, and deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. If you used the friends feature, Settings → Delete Account & Cloud Data permanently removes your profile, friend connections, and shared games from iCloud — friends keep games already shared with them, and your local games stay on your device.
